BUY THE WINE

Alison Buchanan: Again, there is a distinct hint of cardboard here and plastic erasers. Diffuse and blowsy, it just lacks any backbone. Dull. 8

Nicolas Belfrage: Typifies the green-apple character of the grape; no oak. Almost sharp acidity cleans the mouth and leaves it fresh. A wine for drinking, not thinking, which is penalised by following the previous Sartarelli sweet number. 16

Alex Hunt: Old-fashioned, nutty, tired and hollow. 9
