Michael Schuster: Very dark red. A bit reductive to smell; elegantly balanced, fairly concentrated, firmly but finely tannic wine. Long, elegant, even, complex palate with abundant, ripe fruit within the tannic frame; almost succulently juicy in style and with excellent fruit length. Rich and showy for the vintage, will be very attractive in its rather super-ripe, concentrated, oaky style. Plenty of matter, no coarseness. Will need time, though! 2020–35+. 17
