Alison Buchanan: Slightly grubby nose – a bit cardboardy. Only one sample so unable to discover whether atypical. Not clean. 5

Nicolas Belfrage: Nicely balanced wine – the essence of good Italian Pinot Grigio. The nose is Burgundian, oak integrated with fruit; nice weight and follow-through in mouth; satisfying length on finish. 16

Alex Hunt: This is very tired. It doesn’t look oxidised but has an over-the-hill nose of nuts and honey that I’m sure isn’t intentional. 5
