BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Full straw colour. Rich vibrant fruit on the nose – peaches, apricot – with an appealing mineral tang. Rich, rounded, plump, rather soft, super-ripe but retains some acidity and zest, with a lively finish. Good length, with a firm, nutty finish. 18

Simon Field: Taut, quite steely nose, with an attractive backdrop of rose petals. The exoticism is translated into spice and lime on the palate. The finish is razor sharp, with trademark white pepper and musk to provide adornment. Plenty of alcohol and weight. A wine reeking potential. 18
