BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Medium straw. Closed nose. Rich but spicy. Creamy texture, very ripe, but with good underlying acidity to keep it lively on the palate, with an almost minty, peppery aftertaste. Not that complex or weighty, but has a welcome exuberance. Long, mineral finish. 17.5

Roy Richards: Fresh, elegant, with a suggestion of yeast. Very young still, very natural and vibrant, with nice earthiness and length. The first one with a suggestion of white pepper. 18
