Stephen Brook: Medium straw. Rich, spicy nose, discreet and elegant. Rich and broad, quite lush, has a slightly bitter citric edge cutting into a fairly thick texture, but lacks some vigour and is perhaps beginning to tire. Quite good length. 15

Simon Field: Perfumed, rich and eloquent. Cloves and spice. A crisp and beautifully evolved wine with lime and honey at the head of myriad flavours and an extremely powerful finish. 18
