BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Medium straw. Restrained nose of apricot and white peach, with mineral zest threading through the fruit aromas. Rounded, plump, quite evolved, full-bodied, has good acidity that is out of sync with the wine’s flavour and texture. Fine concentration and persistence, but the wine still seems diffuse. Good length, grapefruit-pith finish. 16

Simon Field: Slate on the nose. The palate is inexpressive, a little hot and unforthcoming structurally. Perhaps today is not the day. 14
