Stephen Brook: Medium straw. Very rich peach nose, with a hint of botrytis and slight smokiness. Rich and supple, rounded and fairly dense, with a slight stewed- peach character. Concentrated but lacks some freshness, though its lushness and opulence give pleasure. Good length, peppery finish. 17
Simon Field: Tough, slightly burnt nose. Hints of sulphur even now. The palate betrays the influence of assiduous winemaking; glossy and smartly dressed, but not susceptible to too much enquiry. 14
