BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Medium straw. Ripe, lime nose, attractive but lacks zest. Medium- bodied, sleek, lacks some concentration, relatively low acidity. Forward, as good as it will get. Rather feeble finish. Medium length. 14

Simon Field: Robust almost mealy nose. A wine with plenty of character, although not necessarily what one might normally associate with the variety. An honest interpretation of the vintage perhaps. 16

Roy Richards: Rich; a tiny bit of reduction, though the reduction clears on the second nose. At an intermediary stage and certainly not singing. The fruit is there but there is bitterness, too. Sullen, though no obvious faults. 13
