Stephen Brook: Medium straw. Delightful tangy nose, apricot and peach, a hint of honey, charm and finesse. Medium- bodied, not that powerful or concentrated, but well balanced and silky with delicate acidity. But it does lack some zest and comes close to neutrality on the mid-palate. Good wine, but doesn’t set the pulse racing. Quite good length. 16

Simon Field: Prosaic and earthy on the nose, this wine has a lot of rustic personality, charm even. What it lacks in harmonious structure, it makes up for in integrity. Perhaps slightly out of its league? 13
