Nicolas Belfrage: Slightly sweaty nose (second bottle). Sour-cherry character on the palate, some oak, quite drinkable, but I don’t go for the nose. 12

Stephen Brook: Deep red. Opulent nose, with plenty of new oak and a slight dill character. Fine, rich, fleshy, supple, rounded, but concentrated and with robust tannins. Still youthful but with fine potential. Good length, though a touch dry on the finish. 17.5

Alison Buchanan: Deep black-ruby, richly textured. An extraordinary nose, and not extraordinarily good. Green sap - not corked at all, but there is something deeply unpleasant. It's just green. Sadly, it also comes through on the palate. Something must have gone wrong here, since there is a lot of concentrated and ripe fruit on the palate that is attractive - but the green character is foul. NS
