Nicolas Belfrage: Deepish, with some turn. Herbal medicinal nose. Concentrated and fine, with good balancing acidity and plenty of sour cherry fruit. It bridges the gap between overripe and mean. Very good fruit quality held together with fine but firm structure. 16

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet core to tawny rim. Open, mature, almost salty nose, with dried black fruit, cedarwood, and hints of smoked meats. Medium to full body, with prune juice and oriental spices and a long, slightly dried-out finish. 16

Stephen Brook: Deep red. Warm spicy black-fruit nose, with some savory tones and a strange medicinal character. Medium-bodied but decidedly sweet and jammy, this seems overripe and fatiguing and rather hot on the finish. 13
