Andrew Jefford: Relatively pale, bright lemon gold. Vivid, doughy, lush fruit scents; grapefruit but also sweet grape scents, too: complex but already articulate. Crisp, clean, vivid, very fine-bladed flavours yet fully ripe. Lime fruit bonded into prominent acidity. Pungent, bracing, with delicate minerality. Fine aperitif style. 16
Simon Larkin : Bright, mid-lemon hue. The aromas here suggest ripe citrus, almost peel-like and white peach - gently floral, too. Linear fruit showing perky acidity and a real lemon zest, almost pithy quality. I'm not overly convinced here - the fruit and acid do not balance out well. The acid barely makes a showing. 10.5
Alexander Scott: Bright. To smell, herbal (fern?), mouthwatering Mosel-character, but more warmth and breadth than usual in a dry Mosel. Fresh, relatively light-footed palate, but plenty of ripeness - maybe even some residual sugar. Refreshing acidity for the vintage, balanced dryness without austerity, and a cleansing finish. Elegant and fine. Lots of life ahead. 14.5
