Andrew Jefford: Pale, bright white-gold. Classically fresh, bright, spring-like fruits and some floral notes, too. Again the billow ing free sulphur; one would have thought a little less could be used with drier styles? Nonetheless, not to fault levels - it just robs the aroma of a little purity and finesse. Crisp, clean, moderately concentrated. Pleasant, fresh-flavoured wine, but no great density of flavour here. 12

Simon Larkin : Moderate intensity, lemon hue. Some restraint on the nose, delicately perfumed lime and some suggestion of minerality. The palate shows a pleasing sense of balance, a layered textural quality and good persistent ripe citrus. The fruit shows as ripe, not heady, and the vibrant acidity marries well. A sound if uncomplicated style. 14

Alexander Scott: Discreet nose, with an intriguing hint of spice (myrrh?), but all very understated. Balanced but lacking mid-palate development, scope and length. Decent but not special. 11
