Andrew Jefford: Plain but pure gold. Some fruit, but a slightly muddy style. A touch of sulphur. Full, lively, lots of citrus fruit, perfectly correct yet lacks the density and mass for a good score. Yields? 13.5

Simon Larkin : More of a golden edge to the appearance, perhaps more viscous, too. The nose does little to excite, with muffled fruit, and hints at some impurity. The palate seems flat - I’m still not certain if this is showing as intended. A vibrant accent to the fruit, with ripe bramley. Mouth-watering and evident acidity on finish, very citric in nature. Lacklustre and not for me. 10

Alexander Scott: Again, I find an almost suspicious similarity to the Gutsverwaltung Niederhausen-Schlossbockelheim Niederhauser Steinberg and Schlossbockelheimer Kupfergrube. This is broader and perhaps has less zip on the finish. Not bad. 11.5
