Andrew Jefford: Pale yellow-gold. Very attractive orange and quinine -style aromas, refined and subtle. Much the same here, with average depth to this wine, but lovely, bright yet rounded, ripe acidity and a perfumed aftertaste. Impeccable style; I’m just looking for a little more depth, a longer finish and a sense of endurance. 16
Simon Larkin : Similar appearance to the Kruger-Rumpf Munsterer Pittersberg. The aromas here are more suggestive of ripe Cox and lime with some mineral nuances. The palate shows pleasing definition and some harm ony. Scintillating acidity but most importantly a reasonable sense of balance. Not an overstated example - more one that hinges on restraint with modest persistence revealed on the finish. 14
Alexander Scott: Subtly inviting scent, herbal with a hint of anise. An understated but totally harmonious wine with good ripeness and enough of the minerality one hopes for in German Riesling. Longish. It gently grow s on one. Subjective score. 15
