Michel Bettane: Saline, chalky character, refined and very classical. Good dosage, good craftsmanship - lovely job. 16.5
Simon Larkin : Golden appearance - good, positive bead. Aromatics finely expressed. The palate shows good definition - taut mineral fruit with an appetising leanness. Zippy and directed, this cuvee shows remarkable poise. A classic style from start to finish - vinous to such an extent that a comment on the mousse seems almost inconsequential. A wine demanding of patience? A certainty. 17
Anthony Rose: Pale yellow-gold, youthful-looking. Intense, fresh nose with notes of honeycomb and spice. An invitingly rich, fresh style with nice biscuity fruitiness, elegantly styled with really rich fruit flavours, zingy acidity and a vinosity absent in many of the other Champagnes. A classy, youthful and characterful fizz that can only improve in time. 17
