Michael Schuster: Dense, scented, oaky nose; rich, fairly full-bodied, firmly tannic; fleshy-ripe Cabernet fruit within a chewy frame; fair complexity, good length. Long-term muscularity! 15.5

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Crisp, deep, fleshy and full, with fresh, generous length. For the time being, rather less overbearing and sure of itself than previous vintages, but perhaps slightly austere with its tight texture and aristocratic tannins. Should loosen up with aging. 16/17
