Michael Schuster: Sweetly cassissy to smell; most attractively balanced, concentrated, medium-full wine with a supple, fat fruit within the finely tannic frame; a dark, generous, plump and sappy flavour, with nicely judged oak and good length. Should eventually provide a most satisfying glass of claret; a particularly successful 2003. 16
