Michael Schuster: Well balanced in a lighter style; fine-textured tannin, gentle, scented fruit, Margaux finesse; good light length. Pretty, but not a special Durfort. 15+

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Fairly restrained colour but very expressive on the nose, with precise, refined texture and lovely length. A wine of character. Clearly the finest effort from this estate in recent years. 16
