Michael Schuster: Sweet nose; fairly well-balanced middleweight, but with a light fruit rather dominated by very dry tannins; some richness, but not much complexity. 'Stronger' than Domaine de Chevalier, for example, but less scope. 15.5
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Honest fruit, fleshy, elegant tannins, good length and freshness. We particularly appreciated this wine’s tannic harmony - a quality not often found in this cru in the past 25 years. With just a shade more vinosity, it will rival the top-ranking Leognan Crus Classes.
