Andrew Jefford: Deep red. Raisiny, dry, and cereal-sweet; almost Rioja-like. Concentrated, full, vivid, and elegant: lots of tannins over brisk plum and black-cherry fruits. Fine concentration and depth, with some finishing perfumes. A good wine whose score is held in check by a lack of aromatic refinement and a lack of glycerol, warmth, and resonance to lift those incisive and well-defined fruits. 15.5
