Andrew Jefford: Mid-depth of red. Evident oak here over warm, deep fruits. The oak is a little too dominant, but otherwise this is deep and sound. Soft, tangy, full, warm, with becomingly open depths of clear plum-black cherry fruit. The finish is slightly dry and a little short for a grand cru that will cost £60 a bottle, but the fruit core is enjoyable. 15
