Alex Hunt: Pretty serious, tannic Fleurie that nonetheless has that ever-so-appropriate floral overtone and delicacy of flavor. If it resolves over the next year in bottle, it’ll be quite appealing, though there remains a danger it might turn a bit hollow. 86
Andrew Jefford: Dark purple-red. Pure, sweet, deep, dense, and vivid, with sweet-sour raspberry notes: an enticing scent. Lively, fresh, poised, and packed with raspberry fruits... But surprisingly weighty, too, with ample tannins, and the concentration and power to see out a few years. Outstanding Fleurie here, with perfume, depth, and poise. 89
Peter Liem: Juicy and forward, this is accented by hints of spice and game, its rich fruit feeling lively and focused. It’s notably youthful in tone, needing further aging to develop complexity and depth. 88
