Michael Schuster: Mineral to smell, and gently blackcurrant Cabernet; elegant, refined, supple yet fresh, finely but firmly tannic; sweet-cored to taste, mineral behind the blackcurrant Cab, quite long to taste, fresh, gently aromatic, modestly expressive, and with fine, gentle aromatic length around the sweet fruit core. A good, elegant, understated Duhart- Milon rather than a special one? 2026–36.89–91

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A bit more body and more Pauillac personality than Carruades; beautiful tannin, maybe the most complete wine of the past 30 years.96
