Andrew Jefford: Mid to full-gold. Softly and gracefully honeyed scents with some hazel and lanolin intrigue. Lush and gratifyingly sweet on the palate, with rich glycerol and ample tangy caramel and tarte-tatin complexity. Uninhibited, generous Sauternes which is already well advanced on its aging trajectory. Now to 2024. 90

Stephen Brook: More golden in color than most. Muted nose of peach and mango. Broad and velvety, this shows sumptuous fruit and more weight than usual for this property. But the fruit is cut by a vivacious citric tang that keeps it from being fatiguing. It needs a year or two to harmonize, but it has all the elements in place to suggest an excellent future. 92
