Ella Lister: This has attractive, bright, enticing fruit on the nose. Wild strawberries three ways: fresh, macerated, and jam [jelly] all at once. A touch of tobacco complexity. Very ripe and sumptuous yet with a crucial vein of intense, mouthwatering acidity rendering a perfect balance. Highly concentrated fruit core that lasts long into the chalky tannins on the finish.
