Michael Edwards: A little better than expected, from a mixed vintage that was affected by mid-harvest rain that caused a drop in acidity to one of the lowest levels ever recorded. Today it has a pretty nose of hawthorn and cooked orchard fruits: light, attractive flavors of brioche and hazelnut, but a slight hollowness on the mid-palate and a sense of dilution. A fair effort for the year.
