Michael Edwards: One of the successful ’96s, which avoids the fault of several others in maturity of ripe, even overripe, aromas, then a fiercely acidic, disjointed palate. A bright, healthy yellow and powerful but balanced aromas. A firm structure and mouthfeel, with cleansing flavors of green and yellow fruits. Punchy but poised. Very good length as well.
