Michael Schuster: Dense to smell, sweet and ripe and persistent, with a touch of Merlot pepper; rich, fresh, finely firm, very nicely constituted; sweet in fruit, subtly complex to taste, very long across the palate, with a touch of the green pepper (Merlot) character clear, but with a lovely length of aftertaste, too. A really fine Réserve de la Comtesse, a great second wine. 2026–36+. 90–93
