Michael Schuster: Dense, mineral, gently black-fruit ripe; very full, lively, finely dry in tannin; sweet-flavored, but very fresh, long, and pure, transparent and subtle to taste, mouth-coating in fragrance, long to develop, and with a lovely, gentle, perfumed persistence. This is certainly a very fine, markedly fragrant Trottevieille. 2028–40+. 92–94
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Fine, precise, refined, and fresh thanks to its 55% of Cabernet Franc in the blend this year; long, and it could deserve an even higher rating after bottling. 96–97
