Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Restrained, cool fruit in rather old-fashioned style (which faithfully reflects the old-fashioned vintage). There is a little sweet cologne-like charm if you go looking. Exuberant, deep, ultra-edgy blackcurrant with some bass woof coming through toward the end of the palate to add a little balance. 2018–24. 88
Michael Schuster: Nice ripe red-fruit nose; medium-full, fresh, finely tannic, a gently firm Pauillac; pleasingly redfruit ripe and tasty, with a nice length across the palate, and good length of aftertaste; not big, but satisfying; leave to give of its best. 2025–33. 90
