Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red in color, with generally sweet, attractive, and forthcoming scents of blackcurrant and rose given a softly grassy lift. Not a very concentrated wine, but a fair summary of the vintage, and those aromatic allusions persist on the palate. Gentle oak and unobtrusive tannins: admirable drinking qualities for the short and medium term. 2018–23. 89
Michael Schuster: Closed and backward to smell; fairly full, quite concentrated, firm in acidity and tannin; for the moment a firm, long-term prospect (as so often), tight and tannic behind a briskly ripe fruit, with good length but clearly needing a decade more in bottle to “yield.” A relatively austere, long-term prospect. 2025–35+. 90
