Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Typical deep, thrusting earthiness and black-plum fruit; a hint of green up in the heights of St-Emilion. Rather acidic on the palate, too, with some wealth of texture and deep, blackcurrant pastille fruits. A good shot, but obviously a difficult year for this vineyard. Now to 2021. 87

Stephen Brook: Rich black-fruits nose, quite oaky, and showing remarkable opulence. Broad and juicy, displaying no greenness. Not as concentrated as usual but there is some tannic structure and complexity on the finish. Long. 91
