Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Warm and exuberant if unpolished aromas; ample basic ripeness here. Some orange and tangerine perfume lends intrigue. Supple, full, ripe (in that citrus-grove style) with well-managed acidity. Not a lot of polish or finesse, however. Generous and satisfactory in this difficult year. Now to 2021. 87
Stephen Brook: Lean redcurranty nose, with a light herbaceous edge. Good attack, with a mediumbodied palate that is less green than the nose. There’s some concentration here, too, and acidity gives a positive finish. 88
