Andrew Jefford: Full gold. Rather developed aromas of straw and dry hay and high pastures, but clean and enticing withal. Seems almost Amontillado. On the palate, too, this is either oxidized or an olderstyle Fino with considerable presence and depth. I’m of the latter view, since the wine isn’t tired and there is a lot to find and enjoy in here, including flor character. But if you’re contemplating a purchase, it’s important to understand that this is not all about freshness and primary impact. A mellow sipping Fino 88

Peter Liem: This is deep in color and assertive in fragrance, turning intensely umami on the palate. It’s full in body and concentrated in flavor, and it clearly shows the positive effects of long aging under flor. 94
