Stephen Brook: Bright and crisp on the nose, with ripe citrus aromas, more an accessible Mâconnais than a firmer Côte de Beaune, but perhaps such comparisons aren’t welcome or tactful. The attack is fresh and lean, with a light herbaceous tone despite the middling alcohol. It’s clean and zesty, but I don’t find much complexity or weight. But the sharp acidity does refresh the palate and give decent length. Some grapefruit on the finish. 85
Andrew Jefford: Pale steel green-gold. Fresh, clean, elegant, understated aromas with some shy orchardfruits; little bit of reduction. Clean and full on the palate, with a saline edge to it; the fruits are very understated, and the overall effect is refined and secondary. Just a slight cardboard touch mitigates from the overall appeal (which the second bottle seemed to have, too). I actually like the lack of primary fruit and the understated style, but it might take the unwary aback. 88
Peter Liem: Tart, brisk, and uncomplicated, this is easygoing without displaying much character. 75
