BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Brick-edged red; mature, wet wool and minerals, but overall a cool nose, with little sweetness of fruit; palate similar, medium-full, with a fairly dry, still slightly intrusive, tannin, modest scope, and medium length. Drinkable now, yes, but really needing a bit more time, if you like your claret mellow. It will certainly keep, however! A bit austere, and I prefer the 1991 today. Now to 2020. 14.5/15
