BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Mature ruby, with a soft, ethereal, faintly gravelly bouquet; still fine, but becoming fragile; nicely balanced, elegant, stylish wine; sweet, delicate, and quite long in flavor, but within a now rather too dry tannin—drying out, that is. A great wine in the past, but fading fast on the evidence of this bottle. Lovely sweetness within the tannin, but the drying tannin is very much there. A fragile 16.5
