Simon Field: Strident and purposeful on the nose: autumn evenings and a little licorice. Palate rich, still evolving; figs and Brazil nuts behind an impressive balance of sugar and acidity. Pert and assuming; should continue to age well. 16.5

Richard Mayson: Mid-amber; thin olive-green rim. Rich, lifted, slightly caramelized aromas, similarly full and rich on the palate. A touch bittersweet on the finish. Full-bodied yet well balanced, stopping well short of unctuous. 15

Margaret Rand: Coffee and spice, quite assertive and pungent. Orange peel. Well structured and linear, with an elegant finish. A confident wine. 14.5
