BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook:Fairly deep red, with considerable browning. The nose is sweet and leafy, with aromas of cedar, tobacco, and a touch of tea. It shows a good deal of age but is not tired. Medium-bodied on the palate and a bit hollow and faded, it does show some astringency, hollowness, and volatility. It has a sweet-and-sour tone and overall is less appealing than the nose. Lacks length.
