BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook:Medium-deep brick red. Sweet, intense, leafy nose, caramelly but not tired or oxidized; still has lift and purity. Medium-bodied and silky in texture, a bit faded, but has sweetness and delicacy. Not over the hill but clearly a mature wine. Moderate acidity and past its best, but there is still some freshness on the finish, as well as intensity and perfume. Good length.
