Mark Savage: Not quite clean, and some dry tannins make it short on charm for this taster, but some others, including Barney Watson, liked it better and unearthed some nice, ripe-fruit aromas, with toast and reasonable balance. I suspect that it was a little too hot in August and the wine has dried out, with too much tannin for the fruit.
