Jesús Barquín:Bright mahogany with tawny rim. Apple and rhubarb tart on the nose, spice, even a citrus note. Smoother on the palate, quite expressive and sweet, with a drying finish. 92

Andrew Jefford:Deep russet-brown in color, very bright and limpid. Mellow and harmonious aromas, dry herbal notes but also chocolate and soft, moist dried fruits. Rich and enticing. Poised, lifted, light, tangy, and elegant. There’s sustained, concentrated dry-fruit sweetness with plenty of tangy rancio from the aging process. Not quite a layered palate, though; it subsides toward dryness very harmoniously and serenely. Very good 30 Year Old that doesn’t quite lift toward greatness. 89

Richard Mayson:Good, mid-deep amber-tawny color; lovely, open, heady, mellow aromas, barley sugar and spice; sweet and mellifluous in style, offset by lovely freshness toward the finish, long and fine. 92
