Michel Bettane: Beginning of brownish edges on the glass, open nose, charming fruit, supple, medium body; nothing aristocratic but nice and easy to understand. Do not age it too much. 14.5
Thierry Desseauve: Vegetal and oaky notes; ample without finesse, tiring on the finish. 13.5
Michael Schuster: Ripe, cedary, gently gravelly nose, an early bouquet emerging; elegantly balanced middleweight Pessac-Léognan with a fine, gentle tannin; long, even, gently gravelly flavor, freshly ripe and aromatic, with nice length in the mouth, and with good length to finish, too. Tastes like a high proportion of Merlot. A fine Larrivet, a fine expression of 2006; nicely judged winemaking. Now–2024. 16
