Michel Bettane: Great color, reserved nose, superb body, intense tannins; huge Pauillac in the style we expect for this château. Long life ahead; wait 6–8 years at least 17

Thierry Desseauve: The nose expresses a great Pauillac personality, with a profusion of Havana notes and fine spices. Freshness, length, tension, and ripeness 17

Michael Schuster: Dense but closed to smell; rich and fruity wine within a very firm tannic structure; ripe red-fruit core, with length and complexity to taste. Finely muscular Pauillac, with very nice length. Will need a good 10 years in bottle. 2020–30+ 16.5
