Michel Bettane: Dark color; powerful nose, with lots of black-fruit notes; excellent body; excellent richness of texture for the year; firm tannins. Excellent value for money and aging abilities. Recommended 16.5

Thierry Desseauve: Deep color; brown tobacco aromas blended with red-fruit notes; strong body, a bit austere—need to wait to round the tannins 15

Michael Schuster: Closed but ripe-fruited, cedary nose; elegantly balanced, fresh Margaux, with a fine, dry tannin, ripe, gently complex flavor, and good length. Should make a lovely, refined Margaux given a couple more years. Real finesse: classed growth in name and flavor! 2014–24+ 16 +
