Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Some oak, but otherwise this wine is a winner: real sweetness and warmth here. On the palate, it is long, richly if vividly fruity, but the fruit avoids the rawness of some of its peers (though the acidity is still high, and dominant). There are some tannins for ballast, though with wines whose balances are like the Médoc 2012, you don’t need a lot of tannin. 2018–23. 88
Michael Schuster: Oak-cedar and gravel-mineral to smell; medium-full, lively in acidity, light, oak-dry tannin; crisp red-fruit flavor, modest scope and length. Overall it lacks a bit of charm, probably best drunk on the younger side. 2018–25. 86
