Neil Beckett: Medium-deep ruby. Astonishing clarity and richness of black and red fruit on the nose, spicy but not woody. Equally remarkable texture, dense and silken with slippery tannins, still sufficiently supportive structure. At once fresh and ripe, succulent and vibrant. No great complexity, but clear personality. Delicious, naturally expressive, supremely stylish village lieu-dit.
