Neil Beckett: Deep, intense ruby. Deeper and richer on both the nose and palate than its village neighbor, and requiring more time, but equally expressive and harmonious. The extra degree of concentration is natural and has not been at the expense of balance or freshness. Magnificent but still very refined Gevrey lieu-dit, at which level it must rank among the best wines of the village and the vintage .
